Mwave CGPL Autumn 2016 is just around the corner, and with that we have a huge amount on for both players and spectators over the two days. To make everything easier for every one this thread will outline all the information you need to come down and enjoy the weekend.

AUSTRALIAN TECHNOLOGY PARK IN SYDNEY is located at Locomotive St, Eveleigh in Sydney. To get to the venue you can read the "How To Find Us" guide

To find the building itself, once you come up into the ATP precinct you will see the following building right in the middle of the big row of warehouses, just walk in the glass doors shown (or just walk in the building with a big 8 on the front):
CGPL is being hosted in Meeting roon 6A and 6B

The most important bit of information is for everyone to have fun in a safe and competitive environment.
Visitors / General
  • Entry is free, and no bookings are required
  • Please bring water to stay hydrated
  • Cameras and recording devices are permitted through out the event
  • There are a number of cafes and shops nearby and pizza can also be delivered
  • Acceptable behavior is a must through out the event, visitors will be removed if needed
  • To live spectate the Black Ops 3 players / matches you must have valid ID to show you are at least 18 years of age.

  • Players must bring and use their own peripherals including keyboard, mice, controllers. Players must also bring their own headsets or in ear headphones. Please note noise canceling devices will be provided so in ear headsets are recommended.
  • Please bring water to stay hydrated
  • Cameras and recording devices are permitted through out the event
  • Behavioural standards will be discussed with players from their respective admin team

CGPL will also be the host to some of our sponsors, we expect all visitors, players and staff to show them the utmost respect during the course of the event.

There is no slow day of the Mwave CGPL Autumn 2016. From the get go we see the fierce battles begin with the CoD: Black Ops 3 teams go into battle for CWL ranking points, and a share in over $13000 AUD in cash. Whilst the CoD action is happening two groups consisting of 8 teams for Counter Strike : Global Offensive are fighting for the 4 spots in the finals.

Day 2 kicks off with the top 4 Rocket League teams starting their first LAN experiance. In a double elimination, best of 5 series only the top will survive. Fighting for a share in $2700 cash and to be crowned CGPL Champions everything is on the line with everything to fight fight for.
CSGO gets to the serious business end with the last 4 teams fighting for the spot, and to knock Chiefs from the champion spotlight. With over$6000 on the line, no team will take the challenge lightly.

From 2:30pm SMITE another new game to the CGPL roster will have the top 2 teams from the region battle it out for a share in $10000 split one prize pool.


For those who can not attend the Mwave CGPL Event in person we will have streames available both days.

**The preferred channel for CyberGamer CSGO streams. We are aiming at having this channel partnered before the event.

Through out the event we will have a number of random giveaways for spectators, this includes game codes, headsets, and hardware prizing.

Every time you tune into a CGPL stream (on any channel) you will collect one point per minute of watching. Twitch Subscribers will earn double points. At the end of the season we will take the top 15 viewers and randomly draw a winner to be the new owner of a NetGear X4S D7800 router valued at $428
