STREAMLINE won that comp and we never got paid for it. iirc it was $100 for first place, never replied to Skype either.

Hi Mathew,

STREAMLINE did not win that tournament. Please do not post false information.

As you can see, Hiker's Bash 2 firstly had no prize and secondly this is the correct link for the brackets:

http://challonge.com/hikerblue
http://challonge.com/hikergreen

As management of STREAMLINE I would suggest you know what tournaments and admins your team is entering and don't get them mixed up.

Might be the wrong forum link, but the bracket is correct as you can see it's titled 'Dota 2 Online Tournaments'.

Edit:

I have done some digging and found that this is probably what you may have been talking about?

I am in no way nor is any admins from Hiker's Bash a part of "Dota 2 Online Tournaments"

https://www.facebook.com/dota2onlinetournaments?fref=ts

Our admins may have been helping admin that tournament but we do not own the Facebook page nor the tournament and hence are not responsible for paying the winning team - that is up to the Head of the tournament - I suggest you contact Dota 2 Online Tournaments and not get this mixed up with Hiker's Bash.

Thanks,
Hiker

I did help yes but I am not the owner of the Facebook Page (i.e the website for that tournament)

Here is the contact info for the admin, your welcome to contact him - all I did was help set up brackets.

The so called "post" that you are looking for is here:

http://au.cybergamer.com/forums/thread/559391/Dota-2-online-tournament-with-$100-cash-prizes/

Again, Hiker's Bash has nothing to do with that - we host Hiker's Bash quiet abit every year and the community knows its always been run well and we hold to our word.

So again please don't accuse the wrong "Head Admin"/"Owner" of the tournament you took part in.

Pretty sure he owns the Facebook page - I communicated to him through that and on Cybergamer forums - don't have any other form of contact sorry. I agreed when asked to help him set up brackets which is what I did and ALL I did.

Sorry - thought it was you as you were the one doing EVERYTHING for the comp, also when we asked about the payments in Skype you never replied when all you had to do was direct us to the right person, can't really blame us.

Good luck with your competition though, the last one ran smoothly was just the payment issue, which wasn't your fault in the end
