Welcome to another year of CyberGamer CSGO, we're kicking off the year with CGPL Autumn 2017 and it's going to be a big one, before we get into the league, we are kicking the season off with FFYI's.

Divisions
Returning are the four main skill divisions:
CyberGamer Professional (CGp)
CyberGamer Intermediate (CGi)
CyberGamer Main (CGm)
CyberGamer Amatuer (CGa)

CyberGamer Professional will be down scaling in size, featuring only eight teams this season with the top four attending LAN in our new CyberGamer studio in April.

CyberGamer Intermediate and Main will once again feature twelve teams per division and host an online finals series.

CyberGamer Amatuer will be open to teams that wish to join, it will take place in an Elo ladder format with some adjustments to last season (particularly the challenge rules).

Qualifying Path

There will be no admin selection for any league this season, instead each bracket will have an FFYI path.

Each division excluding CyberGamer Amateur will have a separate FFYI. CyberGamer Professional will have two teams invited with the remaining six teams qualifying through an FFYI.

CyberGamer Intermediate and CyberGamer Main will have no invited teams with all twelve spots in each division being up for grabs in each respective FFYI.

Each FFYI will be a GSL style format, with a double elimination group stage followed by a double elimination finals series.

CGP will have sixteen teams selected to compete with six teams qualifying.
CGi and CGm will have up to thirty-two teams competing with twelve qualifying in each respective FFYI.

You will need an active CyberGamer premium subscription to play in the FFYI as well as an account older than three months, if your account is younger than three months and you wish to compete, contact us.

You can find a breakdown of what the divisions currently look like below:

The two invited CyberGamer Professional teams and all teams that qualify for a division must maintain FOUR of the FIVE players who competed for them in their finals matches to retain their spot.

FFYI Schedule
CGp FFYI Sign Ups: 03/01 - 07/01
CGp FFYI Play: 09/01 - 12/01 (One BO3 per night with an additional BO3 on the last night)
CGi FFYI Sign Ups: 09/01 - 14/01
CGi FFYI Play: 16/01 - 19/01 (One BO3 per night with an additional BO3 on the last night)
CGm FFYI Sign Ups: 19/01 - 24/01
CGm FFYI Play: 25/01, 27/01, 28/01, 29/01 (One BO3 per night with an additional BO3 on the last night)

Each BO3 will start at 7pm, unfortunately there are no reschedules. Reschedules are only permitted on the last day of each qualifier if time does not allow for the final BO3 to be played.

Please note if you sign up for a division much higher than your skill set your team will be first removed to make space for competent teams. E.g. if a CGm team signs up for CGp you may be removed.

Additional Information
The season will commence on the 5th of February with a fully detailed announcement post being released shortly. Please note when applying for the CGp FFYI, all CGp league matches will be scheduled to be played Sunday and Monday nights. If you are unable to play these nights there will be no rescheduling of matches and continuous forfeits will not be tolerated.

Information regarding formats, prize pool and all other details will be released in the coming weeks.

Good work finally the removal of possible admin bias. However I do believe that at least the winners of each division should get an automatic spot into the higher div as you did with Trident.

Me thinks more than 32 teams will be looking for that main spot.

I imagine it means they have priority over most teams in that FFYI.

So you could go 5-0 in groups, clean through finals but lose 2 BO3 before the season and not get placings?
