There's your issue... na but a lot of people have been having mad fps drops in cs recently. Turn of HRTF in sound and put "-high" in ur launch options. This sets the game as high priority.

AMD cpu's have fallen way behind their new one's coming out could save them but intel smashes them in every way at the moment. gl with fps issues specs should run csgo at 250-300 5v5. you dun goofed somewhere.

Hey man so a lot of people had a similar frame drop problem with the xbox app in windows 10 which was auto recording a dvr capture which dropped fps incredibly low.
Your circumstance sounds vaguely familiar.
Valve have now put an auto pop-up message in game if it's on so it might now be but I recommend reading this to navigate to the xbox dvr just to ensure this is not the problem.

be forewarned you may have to create a microsoft account which mean you will have to log into your computer with it but most people set up their accounts for log in anyway.
Hope this helped. Might not be the issue.

I installed new ssd, had the same problems. I did a clean windows install and added +snd_use_hrtf 0 to my launch options and fixed it.

Three things besides the above that i think could be the issue.

1) Enable "Multi-Core rendering" set -threads to 6.
2) Make sure all your cores are unparked.
3) Check Radeon/Crimson settings. Make sure everything is application controlled for CSGO, 1920*1080 and not scaling to 4K, everything is optimized for performance not quality.

CSGO is also mostly optimized for 2-4 cores with no benefit from additional cores so the processor might not be getting fully optimized.

When in game on CSGO i get a really high CPU usage, around 80-90% most of the time. Is there any fix with AMD cpu's like that or is it just the CPU it self? (only csgo using 85% no other programs)
