Rankings

1 - Abyss eSports Club

Express, Addzey, Cyrix, Debat, Dumpling | Nil movement
Abyss have been #1 for a solid 3 weeks now, off the back of some consistent and strong performances. This week they lost in two important matches, Corvidae 2 - 4 in The Chase Grand Final, and Blaa (Pickup team) in ESL, but still cruise through to number 1 position based off a dominant win against Legacy, recent results and the inconsistency of the rest of the top 4. They are going to need to step up their game next week if they want to hold onto their position as they will need to prove that they are truly #1 amongst the 3 other teams nipping very closely at their heels. - yumi_cheeseman

2 - Corvidae

Siki, Daisu, Daze, SToRMCLoRD | + 2
Corvidae went huge this week by taking out the biggest cash prize on offer for months in the OCE by managing a 4-2 victory over Abyss in the Grand Final of the Chase. I said when this team formed they had the potential to become a "Super Team" and here they are at 2nd on the PR. Their style of play is frustrating to play against. By stealing boost and being aggressive on net they have worked into their groove and cause even the best sides to make mistakes. They had to do it tough to get to the final, but these players are hot right now. Cool as a cucumber when the pressure is on.
- Tibore

3/4 Tied - Athletico

Bango, SnarfSnarf, Montyconnor, Jcooke |- 1
Athletico have just hit their lowest point in the last 4 months. With a string of highly average performances and a lack of excellent performances against the top teams, they have dropped to be tied 3rd / 4th with Legacy, and will need an extremely good set of performances to get back on top of the power rankings. With no core changes of recent, there is no reason for Athletico to have seen this drop. Very average performances to beat Gameroos and Corvidae were just not good enough to keep them solid at number 2, and will need much better performances against teams such as Legacy and Abyss to prove they need to be on top. - Nutterres

3/4 Tied - Legacy eSports

Soma, Eren, GroovyGrape, Drippay, Penor | Nil movement
Legacy are starting to settle into their new roster with GroovyGrape fulfilling the primary role as a third member of their roster. Wins in rOCEt against Athletico and Alpha Sydney were surrounded by losses to Abyss in the Chase and Blaa in ESL. Great results, but have also showing inconsistency at the same time. This is natural for a team with a recent roster change, and practice should lead to them being able to bring that consistency level up much higher. If they are able to tighten up their play, their great results should be a good indicator of the performances to expect from these guys on a regular basis. - yumi_cheeseman

5 - Alpha Sydney

Dumbo, Stoney, Dicky, Shawthing | Nil movement
Alpha Sydney continued it's tough time and as a result have decided to mutually part ways. It appears that they currently feel like they are trying to push a square peg into a round hole and it is best that they pursue new teams. They should still be around for a bit though in Rocet (with Cyrix) and the ESL Monthly cup for titles. I am excited to see where these players end up as there are a few teams breaking up in recent days and a rich market for talent. These players have beaten every team that OCE has to offer, so these players are going to be highly sought after.
- Tibore

6 - Gameroos

aoe_emp, DabeastXD, Plitz, Julz, yumi_cheeseman | Nil movement
Gameroos have struggled to play with their core roster for the past week, so are relatively lucky to maintain their position in the power rankings. Pulling out some relatively strong performances even with their official sub, they've kept up in the top 6, rounding out their position well for the last few weeks. Should Gameroos be able to get their core roster back performing well we could definitely see a rise from them should they produce strong performances against teams such as Alpha Sydney and Legacy. - Nutterres

7 - FuroX

0veerBluee, Dreameh, Zepsy, Hughsey | + 1
Furox are on the steady rise, getting plenty of practice time in and always looking stronger each week. They won the B division Chase Grand Finals taking home their first big money prize and seemingly giving them a confidence boost through the rest of the week. A victory against the Gameroos team in ESL is also a great indicator, but they will need prove themselves against the top 5 teams if they want to keep rising each week. - yumi_cheeseman

8 - Team Erase

Fachy, Lukorice, Greeny | - 1
Team Erase almost made it to The Chase Premiers Grand Final but fell short in game 7 OT to Corvidae. The side though traded out Lukorice who was a no show for Athletico's Bango. Greeny has left the side and just like last time he left the side it looks like another breakup for Team Erase. Erase managed to bring back Greeny once before, it's tough to see Greeny coming back a 2nd time. Team Erase have been a massive contributors to the OCE RL tournaments prize pools so it would be a shame if Erase can't manage to find a lineup.
- Tibore

9 - Prodigy

Kia, Delusion, Beatnik, Sid | + 1
Prodigy have had a considerably average week, but with a strong performance in beating Alpha Sydney during Rocet, have proven themselves to stay in the top 10, with a move up to 9th and a chance to show off. Congratulations to the Prodigy boys for their hard work and dedication, they've kept a strong core roster of Kia, Delusion and Beatnik for the last 2 months, and it's starting to show in their gameplay. I look forward to seeing more strong performances from them. - Nutterres

10 - Team Reticent

C.J.M, Untouchable Gilly, Panzerashrek, Zen | + 2 New
Team Reticent make it to the Top 10 for the first time! This side has been getting consistent results and made it all the way to The Chase Preliminary Finals, only to go down 2-4 to the eventual runaway winners Furox. A strong up and coming side that has a lot of potential, they not up to challenging the top dogs just yet, but with some practice could be a team to watch out for. Team Reticent is a fairly fresh side and are making themselves be noticed.
- Tibore
