Hey Undr, you could have easily PM'd your concerns.

I've changed the matches to 1v3 and 2v4 for your further enjoyment.

I simply randomized it before.

1st place will have to win both their games regardless of who they vs.

Season 3 rules come into affect in season 3.

The CURRENT rules allow Envy to play while under average of 150ms. If there are any issues you can dispute the match as per the current rules. There will be a referee who can assist during the match as per usual.

I thought the standard finals format was 1v4 and 2v3? Like how last season finals were played out - http://au.cybergamer.com/forums/thread/590354/CG-Rainbow-Six-Season-1-Finals/

Finals is 1v4 2v3

You are giving 2nd place a easier route to finals by playing 4th over 3rd. That shouldn't be how it is.

It should be 1v4, 2v3.

Honestly, this should have been decided before the season commenced.

Deviating from the standard format and last season's precedent makes it look like just a little bit like you're engineering the contest to avoid GNT matching up against Royal.

Agreed. It would have also been nice to know earlier that it was only the top 4 making it through. Nowhere was it written how many teams would make it through. We issued one last challenge trying to make the top 8, thinking that at least the top 6 would make it through the finals. The a-League has less teams than this ladder, and they take 6... Last season had fewer teams, so it made sense only 4 made finals.

Can we please have a clear outline of the finals series for Season 3 prior to Season 3 starting. i.e. How many will be in the finals, the finals structure, and what dates season closes? As I stated in the other thread, I went away for a weekend, and came back to find the ladder was effectively finished.

Regardless, congrats to those who made it.

Can the ladder be made open for freeplay for those on the bottom half the ladder so we can get some games in before Season 3 starts if we choose?

This season was a bit of a mess as the admin that originally started the season did not plan or execute to a standard suitable for CG.
This admin is no longer in possession of his responsibilities and as such I have stepped in to ensure the next season runs to a higher standard.
You will just have to bare with us while we play this season out and then things will improve for next season.

Best of luck to everyone going into the finals.

No dramas, I actually did have that written in my post (something along the lines of the season being interupted by the admin being stood down), but I removed it. I understand that Flukester is just trying to clean up a mess. But just saying it'd be good to have all such things clear and known ahead of time for next season. Which sounds like it will be. So, win.

Hi everybody,

I just want to say that LSQZ can play ENVY/ROYAL/GNT. We don't care. You don't always need a plan. Sometime you just need balls. Good night kids.
