Split 2 of the OPL kicks off with what promises to be a great match. Both rosters are stacked with OPL talent, Incite being largely composed of the old Dire Wolves roster but with the huge additions of Biggy and TheBeast. Biggy brings leadership and shotcalling to a team that was previously lacking direction and TheBeast is an exciting prospect who showed flashes of great potential on Trident and in the Challenger's scene on old Defiance.
Dead Weight is composed of a lot of cast-away players from former OPL teams, hence the name (it actually came from a hot fire tweet
by a certain caster in response to their solo laner Shred). Led by the talented OnlyGoodAtSolo who has funnily enough moved to the jungle and with experienced players such as Hs247, Agony and Shred as well as Tainted Minds' former sub Weave, this squad will mix it up with the best of them. That being said, Biggy's experience and his roster's talent should make this a 2 - 0 victory for Incite.

A rematch of the spectacular Split 1 finals is the second game of week 1 but these will not be the same squad's you saw matchup at the Australia Technology Park. The Panda's have swapped Rowe and Sporks from jungle and solo lane whilst Tainted Minds have picked up former-Trident jungler UltimateAbyss and rotated the left/mid side of their roster, with Gruff back in support, Slycy ADC and Tomolomu Mid.
With these changes do not expect a clean performance from either side as both squads are still trying to find their footing. That being said, with Rowe able to matchup one-on-one with iDivine and take him out of the game more, this should enable Team Pandamonium to take out a 2 - 0 win.
Avant Garde v LlamasInPyjamas

This will be the closest set of the week for a variety of reasons. Avant Garde are the only team to make no changes between splits but they did not perform last split and the Llamas seem to be the team of the people and often riding that wave of support leads to teams performing better. Avant Garde do have the advantage of having their coach Lydia in Australia for the first week so this should enable her to have more of an influence over her team during the week.
Honestly this game could be a 2 - 0 either way or a split, it all depends on who shows up on the day. A split is the safest option as ElChuckles has quietly been the most improved player in the scene over the last 6 months since his transition to the solo lane. If LiquidRenegade can return to the form he had in his prime, Avant Garde can be scary this split. None of the Llamas bar Ranabarana have played in the OPL before but have been practicing consistently against OPL teams since qualifiers for Split 1. However, OPL matches are different to scrims and we will have to see if the pressure will get to them.
Guys if you have any predictions please share them below! Also note that these are my personal predictions and should not be considered BM against any team, simply how I feel those teams have performed previously and will perform in the week at hand.
