Just updated to Windows 7 64 Bit Professional from Windows XP 32Bit Professional.

All went well apart from some minor issues in my sound which I have fixed apart from a problem when running CoD4.

The problem is that when playing, my sounds seems to be projecting as if it has a filter (for example; Rock, Pop, Karaoke). This makes playing extremely difficult and frustrating.

Has anyone had this problem?

I have made sure none of the sound filters are on, as my sound is on default in the Realtek HD audio control panel.

Everything else now sounds normal apart from CoD4.

My Specs are below:
Quote from Specs:
Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 7850 Dual-Core Processor (2 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Hard Drive: 320 GB
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series | HIS HD4870
Monitor: LG W2242(Digital)
Sound Card: Realtek Digital Output (Realtek High Definition Audio)
Speakers/Headphones: Plantronics Audio365
Keyboard: Razer Tarantular
Mouse: Razer Diamondback 3G
Mouse Surface: Acer Failmat
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_rtm.090713-1255)
Motherboard: Gigabyte MA770-US3
Computer Case: Antec Threehundred

Thanks for your time.
Pol.
